Ingredients
- 6 cups fresh or frozen sliced peaches
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Prepare the peachesToss the peaches with 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice, then set aside to macerate.

Make the batterWhisk the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt, then stir in the milk just until combined.

Layer the cobblerPour the melted butter into a baking dish, pour the batter over the butter, then spoon the peaches and their juices evenly over the top without stirring.
